Hey! I’m finally back with updates! I actually updated the Characters page a few days ago and now there’s a new Location page. I’ve got the first two chapters of the game vaguely planned out too, so progress is being made. Enjoy!

Edit: Also, I added all my blogs to the sidebar on the right. I’ll fill them out later.

Woah, it’s been quite a while, hasn’t it? So my small hiatus to work on some other projects turned into a very large one due to college and my laptop’s charger dying. (still is)

I’ll try to get some stuff in when the new charger arrives, some things have changed (for the better) and there’s stuff to update.

Hey everyone, unfortunately I’m going to have to take a break from working on TCFOS for a short while. I’ve got a project that I’m working on and I can’t exactly switch between the two easily without watching them both fail, so for a while I’m going to be working on that only. I should be back soon, but if you don’t hear anything for a while this would be why.

I wish I had more stuff to post for your guys, but at the moment I’ve pretty much just made progress with items. I did draw some poster concepts though. By no means does this mean I plan on making a poster of any sort, but I might one day. I’ll get around to posting those and I’ll edit this post when I do.

Major update, really. Uploaded 8 pages of concept art. It may not be the best quality, but it gets the job done. Some pages contain minor spoilers, but meh, look at your own risk?

EDIT: I removed anything I felt was too spoiler-y. Any spoilers now are just what may or may not be a boss later on.

Okay, so I thought up the other four villains you’ll encounter throughout the game. The 5 villains (Veronica included) are all part of a military force known as “The Daughters”.

Name: Rozalin Inglebert
Nickname: Rozy, Professor
Weapon: None
Description: The only “Daughter” that did not come from nobility, Rozalin is a scientist at heart. She isn’t much of a fighter, but she developed the specialized weapons the daughters wield. Genius or no, she’s still a young girl and has the same weaknesses and affinities of any normal middle school aged girl.

Name: Bernadette Schwarz
Nickname: Bern
Weapon: Laser Sword
Description: Bernadette is the eldest “Daughter” but only recently joined them. Born into nobility, like the majority of the “Daughters” Bernadette was raised a fighter. Her strengths lie in sword fighting and stamina leaving her weak in areas such as speed and common sense. She’s predictable and easily angered.

Name: Sera Balkyr
Nickname: None
Weapon: Dual Handgun
Description: An intellectual young noble and the first of the “Daughters”. Sera specializes in speed and tactical situations. Her strength is not as high as Bernadette, but she is still a force to be reckoned with. Sera prefers to avoid conflict in general and just wants to read her fucking book.

Name: Marigold (Last Name unknown)
Nickname: “The Truth”, “The True Daughter”
Weapon: Unknown
Description: The technological expert of the “Daughters”. Much about her is a mystery, she is quiet, refined and lives to serve the “Father”. She has not been known to take place in any battle and many wonder how she became one of the “Daughters” in the first place.

Yeah, sorry, I’ve been databasing skills, items, and equipment in spreadsheets. While I’m now convinced that spreadsheets are magical, it also leaves me with little updates to make. I will try to do some spriting or something.

Veronica Langley
Nickname(s): Ronnie, Veronica Gangly
Description: A tall, lanky blond woman who works for the Space-flight Academy’s military division. She once worked with Elsa in the military and has since formed a personal rivalry against her. She’ll do anything to win against Elsa, regardless of whether or not the other party is actually involved and has a weakness for handsome men with accents.

Mitchell: Support Skills

Each character has 3 types of skills: Short Range, Long Range, and Support. Mitchell, being The ACE‘s servant/waiter/bartender, will be able to sling drinks.

While on The ACE the player can talk to Mitchell in order to use ingredients and make drinks. These drinks can be used from the inventory for their own effects (Example: “Sex on the Beach” will heal HP). In battle, Mitchell can use his support skills to sling drinks and possibly change the effects. (Example: “Sex on the Beach” will heal everyone‘s HP) In some cases the effects may change. (The drink might do fire damage, but the skill might apply Berserk status).

Woah, I haven’t had much to post here as an update as of late. I’ve been searching for some scripts and music for the game, and I’ve had some luck. The menu will be a nice ring menu, it looks pretty sweet. I’m gonna have to get working on some tilesets and animating characters soon though.
